Dress code
Smart casual dress is the minimum standard required when on the Club’s property.
The following guidance is issued to assist members and guests in interpreting what WILL NOT be considered to meet the minimum standard.
On the Course, you may not wear:
Gentlemen
- Shirts without sleeves or shirts without a collar (other than long sleeved roll neck sweaters). SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED IN. Football/rugby shirts are not acceptable.
- Shorts, other than tailored shorts when worn with either full-length hose or short white sports socks.
- Denim jeans, shell/track suits or similar, trainers, canvas deck shoes.
Ladies
- Shirts/blouses without a collar (other than long sleeved roll neck sweaters). SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED IN. Football/rugby shirts are not acceptable.
- Shorts, other than tailored shorts of modest length.
- Denim jeans, shell/track suits or similar, leggings/ski pants or similar, vests/sun tops, trainers, canvas deck shoes.
In the Clubhouse, you must meet the same standards as on the course and in addition:
Gentlemen
- Jacket and tie are required after 7 p.m. in the dining room.
- Tailored shorts are permitted up to 7 p.m., when worn with full-length hose or white sports socks.
- Socks are to be worn at all times.
- You are expected to change out of dirty/wet clothing.
- No golfing footwear is permitted.
Ladies
- More formal wear is expected in the dining room after 7 p.m.
- Shirts/blouses need not be tucked in if appropriate to the mode of dress.
- You are expected to change out of dirty/wet clothing.
- No golfing footwear is permitted.
It is the responsibility of all members of the Club to ensure that these standards are maintained at all times.
Staff have been instructed to ensure that the above standards are maintained at all times.
